Avesil Reviewed

AvesilThe diet supplement Avesil has a couple of key weight-loss ingredients, but the pills are incredibly over-priced, and the company tricks consumers with free-trial scams.

Avesil might help you lose weight, but your wallet will shrink much faster than your waist. DietResearch.com does not recommend this product.

Safety and Quality

Avesil diet pills have a mix of good and not-so-good ingredients. Our expert staff found nothing in the product warrants its enormous price tag.

Caffeine and green tea extract suppress hunger while increasing energy.

Garcinia cambogia, a tropical plant, is a source of hydroxycitric acid, which has been shown in animal studies to boost metabolism. However, it is one of the key ingredients in Hydroxicut, which the FDA recalled for its association with fatal liver damage.

Chromium helps the body metabolize sugar. However, high doses have been linked to DNA damage in rodent studies.

Effectiveness

Avesil’s website raves about a study that shows people taking Avesile ingredients lost 300 times more weight than those who dieted and exercised without supplements.

However, our staff discovered the study uses a combination of three ingredients—only one of which is found in Avesil.

The study also fails to list the dosage given to subjects, making it impossible to compare to Avesil diet pills.

Cost

Avesil costs $89.95 per month. That’s double what most of the best diet pills cost.

Customer Service

Avesil will promise a free trial, however, if you don’t return the product in 14 days, they will charge your credit card $89.99 every 30 days.

This is known as an autoship scam. DietResearch.com strongly warns against buying diet pills from any company that offers a free trial.

The makers of Avesil, Green Bracket, have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB includes the following explanation of the grade:

“We strongly question the company’s reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law’s licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company’s industry is known for its fraudulent business practices.”

Customers express frustrations about dealing with Avesil:

“I tried Avesil. After taking for a few days I began to feel sick. Terrible bloating, stomach upset. I took it for 2 weeks hoping my body would adjust. Never did. When I called for a refund as stated in their ad I was told I was 3 days too late. I was charged 89.00 when the ad leads you to believe the trial period is free. They refuse to give me my money back, & told me to give it to someone else who may benefit from it.” – Marlene Sereboff

“Avesil – What a ripoff. Their website CANCEL function does not work, and their phone response is ‘The voicemail system is currently unavailable. Please try again later.’” – Michael in Goleta

Money-back guarantee

Avesil does not stand behind its product with a money-back guarantee.

Conclusion

Caffeine and green tea extract are great ingredients, but certainly not great enough to warrant $90 per month. The other ingredients in Avesil are sketchy at best, and the company can not be trusted with your credit card information. Check out our top ranked diet pills for more worthwhile options.
